So I thought. Carl and I got divorced in 2004 after being married almost 17 years. We remained friends after, mainly because I never disliked him, but felt bad that he was never able to get over his alcoholism. He knew that too, so he let go of me without a battle. Today was more than ordinary as far as my life is concerned. When I first woke up and tried to get out of bed, I realized real fast I was unable to get up. My lower hip area was frozen.
