He could leave the Hospital already. eHe still needs weeks for a recovery, but he will be okay. I am so grateful.

What you said about cancer is true, especially in Kevin's stage. I know he is suffering and I also know he is ready to go. It's his family that keep insisting on him eating, drinking, etc. but I know that just prolongs his agony. If they would just let him be, his natural endorphins would kick in and things would be so much easier. That is hard to explain to a lay person. I have seen this over and over again and the results are always the same.
I will be calling his sister here this morning to see how she is doing today. Thanks for writing.
My daughter in law lived in India when she was a child. Her parent were missionaries at the time. The pictures that she gave me are nice. I'll post them on my site here so you can see them. I know Abbey really had a wonderful time while there!

I am glad to have met you and yes we are spiritual friends. Love is the key along with compassion and kindness. Right now I am an ear to my best friend who is losing her brother to cancer. There is nothing I can do to stop the process but I can visit and just be there. I know when I hugged Kevin last week, all I felt was love in the purest form. So many people try to dodge death as if it's not a part of life or it's not going to happen to them. I actually embrace it, not because I want it to happen but because in order to fully appreciate life, one has to appreciate death.
